Nine PNG Hunters have been named in the 18-man PNG LNG Kumuls squad to take on Fiji Batis in next Saturday’s Pacific Test in Sydney.
PNGRFL Chairman Sandis Tsaka announced at a media conference today that consistent performances for the Hunters by Radley Brawa and Junior Rau have got the nod of the selectors.
The duo will join fellow Hunters Adex Wera, Thompson Teteh, Watson Boas, Stanton Albert, Nixon Putt, Willie Minoga and Enock Maki in the national side.
Tsaka said apart from Richard Pandia (from the Ipswich Jets) who debuted in last year’s Pacific Test against Cook Islands, the rest of the players are from the World Cup squad, including Burleigh Bears Luke Page and Rod Griffin from the Townsville Blackhawks.
