Rocky Juniors Round 10 wrap

Round 10 of the Rockhampton and Districts Juniors was played on the weekend of May 4-6.

In the Under 13 division, Cap Coast Brothers continued their winning ways taking care of Norths in town in their Friday night game, while the Tigers kept close to them on the ladder taking care of Yeppoon at the Beach by 14. Brothers White put a gap between them and Emu's on the ladder defeating them while Brothers Blue had an easy night when Gracemere couldn't field a side at home.

In the Under 14s, Yeppoon kept their finals chances alive with a though win over Rocky Tigers, Cap Coast and Brothers Blue continued to be the benchmark for this age group with good wins.

The Under 15 Gracemere Brothers clash was down on players due to representative duties; but the quality of the game was not affected with the match being very close until the last five minutes when Gracemere were able to put on a couple tries to seal the win.

North's and Brothers Under 16 made a statement this year and on Friday night they again proved too good for their opposition.

Norths had to fight hard to get away with an eight-point win over Cap Coast Tigers while Brothers accounted for Woorabinda.

The Under 18 Cap Coast side kept rolling along and they were too strong for Norths Blue and that loss makes it hard for the Norths side to get into the top four.

Their counterparts Norths White dug deep with a gritty win over Brothers while Emu Park accounted for Yeppoon.
