Tweed Heads skipper experienced his first win as captain at the club last weekend, and he made sure he made a key contribution to acheive the result.
Having missed last round's win over Wynnum Manly with injury, Whitelaw returned in Round 7 against the Tigers and added 28 tackles to his game high 211 metres made with the ball from 21 runs.
The player to run the highest number of metres made though was PNG Hunters fullback Edene Gebbie with 230m, including an impressive 80m run for a try which was number 5 in this week's Intrust Super Cup Top 5 moments of the round.

Other interest in this round concerned the return from injury of fan favourite Shaun Fensom, who made a solid contribution for the Blackhawks in their win over the Norths Devils, with 52m and 21 tackles from his 36 minutes on the field.
This display was enough to convince the Cowboys to return him to their NRL side to face his former team the Raiders this Saturday.
