Inglis back to his old form

A welcome return to form from Greg Inglis wasn't the only good news to emerge for South Sydney Rabbitohs in their win over the Sydney Roosters on Thursday night.
Live-wire hooker Damien Cook supplied another strong reason as to why he's at the head of the queue for the NSW No.9 jersey for the 2018 Holden State of Origin series.
South Sydney coach Anthony Seibold said he is proud of the way Inglis has returned.
"It's great to see him score that try and have a big smile on his face," Seibold said.
"I'm proud of the way Greg's started the year. It's been challenging at times for him, we had some pretty tough conversations at different times over the pre-season. It's a long slog when you're coming back from an ACL so I'm really proud of where he's got himself to.
"We saw a fairly quick progression, probably mid-January where we saw a lot of improvement in his knee and from a physical point of view and as I said I'm really proud of him getting back to where he is and it's great to have him as our leader and our captain."

Cook's consistency in making big ground in the middle of the field turned the Roosters defence around all night, in which Seibold said he has earned his place as an 80-minute player.
"Cooky was great and I thought he was pretty good last week as well. He started the season really well and I sort of had a feeling that he was ready to be an 80 minute player," Seibold said.
"He knows he has to continue to work hard with Robbie Farah sitting there as well.
"I challenge Cooky to repeat it next week now. It's no good being an eight out of 10 tonight, we got to turn up next week and do the same job."
In more good news for the Rabbitohs, there were no major injury reports, something which will please Seibold as they prepare for the Canberra Raiders next Saturday at Central Coast Stadium.
