The Queensland Rugby League’s South East Queensland Division has announced the draw for its Under 16 age pre-season competition.
This year’s competition will kick off on Saturday, March 3 at Nerang Juniors Rugby League Football Club with the first game seeing Brisbane Red facing off against Ipswich at 2pm.
This was introduced last season by the Division in place of the previous QRL state-wide competition the Cyril Connell Cup.
Four venues within the region will share the hosting of these games which will assist in the selection of the two SEQ Water Dragons representative teams to participate in the QRL State Junior Carnival being staged at the Sunshine Coast later this year.
