It’s a new era for the Tweed Heads Seagulls, with former Gold Coast Titans Under 20s mentor Ben Woolf taking on the coaching duties for the club in season 2018.
Taking over from Aaron Zimmerle; Woolf is banking on youth, having signed a number of players from the now defunct NYC competition, with Rory Lillis and Ethan Roberts moving across from the young Titans side, while junior Queensland representative Hiale Roycroft (NQ Cowboys) and fullback Beau Cordtz joins from the South Sydney NYC.
Another interesting acquisition is Canada representative Rhys Jacks who returns to the Intrust Super Cup competition having played last season with the Toronto Wolfpack.
