The QRL Mod Camp featuring footballers aged nine to 11 years is held annually at The Cathedral School in Townsville and is full to capacity for the third year running.
More than 100 children ready to participate in two full days of rugby league that will focus on skills development and fun. The great facilities of The Cathedral School make it a terrific place to hold a camp of this size and nature.
This year, there are young players from the Atherton Tableland, Cairns, Innisfail, Townsville and from along the Flinders Highway all the way to Mount Isa involved.
Thanks to the wonderful partnership formed between the Mendi Group and the QRL Northern Division and the ongoing support from long time camp supporters Brothers Leagues Club, the cost of the camp has remained the same for the campers despite rising costs associated with it.
