The Broncos hard man said a returning Billy Slater and Johnathan Thurston lead an enthusiastic squad around which included debutant's Coen Hess, Jared Wallace, Valentine Holmes, Tim Glasby.
The team was also joined by possible future Maroons from the Brisbane Broncos; Ben Hunt and Andrew McCullough.
