Niue Rugby League are looking to recruit Queensland-based players to take part in the Queensland Pacific Island Cultural Carnival in October this year.

The annual tournament is a three-day rugby league carnival celebrating the cultural heritage of Queensland-based Pacific Island people.

As well as players, Niue (pronounced new-way) Rugby League are also hoping for volunteers to get on board for the carnival as LeagueSafe and FAO staff.

As a QRL SEQ Division event, all volunteers must have a valid QRL accreditation and current Blue Card.

Niue is an island country in the South Pacific Ocean, about 3900km northeast of Brisbane.

The nation are looking for players in several age groups including: Under 14 Boys, Under 16 Boys, Under 18 Boys, Open Men’s and Open Women’s.
