XXXX Queensland Maroons debutant Valentine Holmes said he is “ready” to make the step up into the Origin arena next Wednesday night.
The Cronulla Shark told QRL Media it was an “awesome privilege” to be part of the Maroons team and that he could not wait to play.
“I feel like I am definitely ready; I have played in some big occasions – I have played for Australia ... and I think I can enter the Origin arena as they say and I am ready for it.”
He also spoke about playing alongside his idols Cameron Smith and Billy Slater.
