The SEQ Women’s competition kicked off last weekend with a new format to start the 2016 season.
There are also a number of new teams that have joined the competition this year and the results from the opening rounds will determine which division each team will be best suited to.

Round 2 will continue this weekend, with the first games being played today (Saturday, April 9) from 1.30pm.
Across all grounds this weekend, all players will observe a minute’s silence before each game and some clubs will also wear arm bands to show their respect for Sunnybank player Jenni Mackenzie who passed away last weekend.
