Under the guidance of newly-signed coach Adam Mogg, the Dolphins have made some astute signings for the new year, picking up a number of players who have performed well in the Cup in previous seasons including 2013 premiership-winning duo (with the Mackay Cutters) Chris Gesch and Tyson Andrews.
A late-season surge was not enough to get the Redcliffe Dolphins into the finals in season 2015, but the powerhouse club will be aiming to feature in September in 2016.
