Brothers defeated West End Bulldogs 46-12 in the Ipswich Rugby League Boettcher Realty Colts Cup on Saturday.
In the early stages of the match West End got into good attacking position on the back of a penalty but Brothers defence held strong.
Despite having to defend their line early, Brothers had raced out to a 16-nil lead after just 13-minutes.
In the 19th minute Faitasiga Oloitoa extended Brothers' lead even further when he raced over to score a try from dummy-half.
When Brothers scored in the 24th minute, West End were behind 26-nil, but the Bulldogs had shown some quality with the chances that they had received.
In the 33rd minute, the Bulldogs were presented with a good attacking opportunity and they took full advantage of it when Motu Heather scored a great try out wide to get West End on the scoreboard.
A penalty-goal to West End after the halftime siren took the score to 26-6 in favour of Brothers.
West End came out in the second-half playing with great commitment.
Just four minutes after halftime, West End's commitment paid-off as they scored their second try of the match.
Brothers were quick to respond though; just nine minutes later they had extended their lead to 34-12.
In the final 10-minutes of the match, Tyler Van Zaden-North and Kaineno Leota both scored tries for Brothers, taking the final score to 46-12.
In round 12 of the Ipswich Rugby League Mayor Paul Pisasale A-Grade Cup, West End defeated Brothers 36-20, Swifts defeated Goodna 36-34 and Norths defeated Fassifern 34-30.
