QUEENSLAND schools Wavell State High School and Palm Beach Currumbin State High School both booked their spots in the GIO Cup National Semi Finals with strong wins in their quarter finals matches this week.
Wavell State High School defeated Matraville Sports High 48-32, while Palm Beach Currumbin played a tense match against Hills Sports High to win 27-20.
Palm Beach will next meet Patrician Brother Blacktown, while Wavell’s next opponents will be Endeavour Sports High.
