Last Sunday saw the U13, U14 and U16 Junior Clydesdales field two teams in each grade to play teams from Warwick and the Junior Stockmen from Roma.
Although the weather wasn’t kind with extremely cold and blustery conditions the players entertained the crowd with some very exciting footy and some close results.
These games were the last hit out for the boys to showcase their footy skills to secure a spot in the final Junior Clydesdale team in their respective age groups.
The selected teams will now train over the next 10 days before travelling to Chinchilla to vie for a spot in the South West Mustangs who will play in the Qld Junior State Championships held in Cairns in the first week of the June/July school holidays.
We would like to wish the boys all the best and most of all learn from and enjoy the experience.
