FOGS Peter Jackson Memorial Award
This award is for the player who makes the greatest contribution to the Queensland Origin squad each year. It can be a player or one of the support staff who really epitomises the Queensland Origin spirit.
The award was introduced in 2003 as a tribute to Peter Jackson, who played 16 games for the Maroons. Jackson was a fiercely proud Queenslander and an inspirational player who put the team ahead of everything else.

FOGS Dick 'Tosser' Turner Medal
Dick 'Tosser' Turner was a former player and administrator, but it was in his role as the Queensland Origin team manager, one given to him by Ron McAuliffe, that he achieved legendary status. His contribution to the success of Origin - on and off the field - cannot be underestimated.
The FOGS Dick 'Tosser' Turner Medal is for players who have donned the Maroons jersey 20 or more times - a nod to Turner's lengthy commitment to the game and the Maroons.

FOGS Statesman Award
Introduced in 2014, the FOGS Statesman Award celebrates those who have represented Queensland on 30 or more occasions.

Wally Lewis Medal
Wally Lewis is considered one of Queensland's greatest ever Origin players. He played 31 Origin games (30 as captain) and received a record eight players of the match awards over a 12-year period.
From 1992 to 2003 the Wally Lewis Medal was awarded to the Queensland player of the series. Since 2003, it has been awarded to the player of the series irrespective of the state they represent when the Australian Rugby League decided to honour the State of Origin player of the series with the Wally Lewis Medal. With this awarded originally being awarded to the Queensland player of the series, it was then renamed after the former chairman of the QRL and the acclaimed father of the Origin concept, the late Senator Ron McAuliffe.

Ron McAuliffe Medal (renamed)
From 1992 to 2003, this award was the ‘Wally Lewis Medal’, however after 2003 this medal was dedicated to the player of the series from both teams, and thus the award for the Queensland player of the series was awarded with the Ron McAuliffe Medal.
