Biography
Versatile Moses Mbye burst onto the scene with Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs late in 2011, scoring two tries in the opening 15 minutes of his debut National Youth Competition match against Manly-Warringah, at Brookvale Oval.
Mbye, who has Gambian heritage, played junior rugby league for Noosa Pirates, and played halfback and hooker in his early days with Canterbury, when he also worked as a teacher's aide.
Mbye captained Canterbury's NYC side, before going on to represent Queensland Under 20s, in 2013 and 2014. In 2013, he played five-eighth for the Junior Kangaroos in their 38-26 win over the Junior Kiwis in Sydney.
Moses Mbye is another guy who is a captain of his club and can play a number of positions for us. He plays with a lot of class and spirit.

Mbye made his NRL debut at centre for Canterbury in Round 8, 2014, against Newcastle. He joined Wests Tigers mid-way through the 2018 season and the following year made his State of Origin debut for Queensland, playing all three matches of the series, two from the bench and Game III, as a centre.
Mbye captained the Tigers on 32 occasions. He signed a three-year deal with St George Illawarra at the end of 2021.
Going into the 2022 season, Mbye had played 157 NRL games; scored 28 tries and kicked 140 goals and two field goals.
