Biography
Jarrod Wallace played his junior footy for Runaway Bay Seagulls on the Gold Coast, and also the Sawtell Panthers, on the North Coast of New South Wales, when the family moved to Coffs Harbour.
Jarrod's father, Craig was a formidable prop forward, who represented New South Wales Residents and New South Wales Country. Father and son played senior football together at Sawtell and Runaway Bay, with Jarrod signed by Gold Coast Titans as a teenager.
Jarrod played in the Mal Meninga Cup and NRL National Youth competitions before signing with the Brisbane Broncos in 2012. He spent the first part of the year playing for Norths Devils in the Intrust Super Cup, before making his NRL debut in Round 14, against the Sydney Roosters.
He is always the first to grab me, slap me in the face and tell me to 'get up, we got a game, we got to win today'.

In 2017, after making 73 NRL appearances for Brisbane, Wallace moved back to the Gold Coast, signing a three-year deal with the Titans.
He was selected as 18th man for Queensland for Game I of the 2017 Origin series at Suncorp Stadium, before making his debut in Game II, after the Maroons suffered a 28-4 loss to the Blues.
Wallace and Dylan Napa were the starting props as Queensland squared the series with a 18-16 win in Sydney. Wallace went on to score a try in the decider at Suncorp Stadium, with Queensland winning 22-6.
He played all three games in the 2018 series, but back and hamstring issues made it a tough 2019 season, with Wallace playing only in Game II, in Perth.
A tireless worker, he had chalked up 177 NRL matches, going into the 2022 season with the Titans, scoring 17 tries along the way.
