Biography
Burleigh Bears junior Jai Arrow was chosen for Australian Schoolboys from Keebra Park High, in 2012, for matches against a touring English Academy side. Arrow played for the Brisbane Broncos National Youth Competition side and then for Intrust Super Cup affiliate, Norths Devils.
In 2015, he captained Brisbane's NYC team and was named lock of the year for that competition. He also played lock for the Junior Kangaroos in their 22-20 win over the Junior Kiwis.
Arrow made his NRL debut for the Broncos in 2016, against Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles. He signed for Gold Coast Titans in 2018, and became a vital member of their pack, and was seen as a leader at the club.
His game is perfectly suited to Origin. He is a real warrior and other players love playing with him.
Garth Brennan former Gold Coast Titans coach
Arrow made his State of Origin debut from the Titans in 2018, coming off the bench in Game I of the series at the MCG. He made his starting debut in Game III in the front row, helping the Maroons to a face-saving win at Suncorp Stadium, after the Blues had won Game I and Game II.
Arrow joined South Sydney in 2020, and played all three Origin matches off the bench, after having been a starting prop in Game I the previous year.
In 2021, Arrow started at lock and second row in Game I and Game II respectively, but was ruled out of Origin III for disciplinary reasons. He came off the bench in South Sydney's 14-12 loss to Penrith in the 2021 NRL grand final at Suncorp Stadium.
