Brendan O’Farrell is an accomplished Non-Executive Director and Advisory Board
Member, with extensive experience across a diverse range of industry sectors. In
addition to his QRL Board role, he currently sits on several company boards, including Stadiums Queensland, the State Investment Advisory Board (SIAB), TUH Health Fund, investLogan Pty Ltd, Broncos Leagues Club, Windsor Income Protection Pty Ltd and is Chair of Economic Development Queensland and Clubs Queensland.
Brendan is the founder of his own consulting firm, Maple Tree Consulting Pty Ltd. He holds an MBA, Diploma of Superannuation Management – DipSM and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and has further enhanced his expertise through courses in Strategic Management at Wharton Business School and in Leading and Building an Innovative Culture at Harvard Business School.
Brendan's career spans over 25 years in senior executive roles, ranging from General Manager to Chief Executive Officer, providing him with a wealth of knowledge and leadership experience in corporate governance, strategic management, and organisational development.
Over the years, Brendan has been an avid follower of rugby league in Queensland, and with this extensive knowledge of community and pathway competitions, he is committed to making a meaningful contribution to the game across the state.
